Get this one.... 3 guys limp in and I'm like the 7th guy from the big blind with Q,4 offsuit. Hell, I say let's play with 5 players already limped in, so I call it.
Everyone behind me folds and there are 6 of us still playing. I love loose games like this!! So then it flops a 3 of clubs, a 5 of spades and a 6 of clubs. Well man, that gives me an open ended with my 4 and a backdoor straight with my Queen.
First guy bets 2 1/2 big blinds, so I figure he's paired up something. I'm ready to dump my hand but the next 3 guys call him...heyah POT ODDS...POT ODDS!! got my open ended... so I call too..and now there is over a dozen big blinds in the pot... So lets see the turn, its a Jack of clubs
Everyone checks, I'm the last to bet and I'm thinkin' I'm gonna take this pot with a pot size bet.
Oh crap, 2 guys call my pot bet, so now there's over 40 big blinds in the pot
...and we see the river with a 3 of diamonds. Okay, didn't get my straight at all and didn't pair up nuthin.
What do those 2 guys have if they called my pot bet on the turn? I'm thinkin' someone's got 2 pair, someone's on a straight draw like me, maybe he's got top pair, maybe he's on a flush draw too? I don't think anyone made their trips...this table didn't seem the type that would call a 2 1/2 big blind raise on the lowest pair on the board so I was betting that wasn't why they called me.
Heck, I ain't no pussy, I ain't goin home! So I push All-in with just over twice the pot size.. As far as I'm concerned I made my "nut flush" ...yeah so in my head..but they don't have to know that..
I'd been playing for a bit...and felt I had some respect at the table...and sure enough, IT WORKED!!
My over the top bet was too much for them to risk, and they folded. Now that was a definite steal of a pot and I basically tripled my total bet amount that round!

Nice play Emilio. I like the aggressive style of play, it usually pays dividends although you sometimes get caught with your hand in the cookie jar, although that isn't always bad as you can set up later plays. Where were you playing at?
