If you are going to vegas for the first time you have to go down to freemont street,great place to get off the strip and get down and dirty on the old part of Vegas .They always have a band playing out on the street ,the light show all the venders its great,plus you will find some of the best poker down on freemont street.
I agree, I would certainly recommend that everyone who comes to Vegas plan on getting downtown at least for one day. The area is condensed enough that you can visit all the casinos there in one day and there are several good poker rooms downtown. The light show at the Fremont Street Experience is a one of a kind event that you should also see.
This is where the world series got started,be part of the history and go down to freemont street and play at Binion's,but watch out for the sharks because they will be lurking at Binion's
Which poker rooms are the best on Fremont Street. I'm going in a coulple weeks and have played at the Plaza and Binions but not at the Nugget's new room yet. Any suggestions?
